Carnaby Street, West End lighting design & upgrade
We were tasked with the lighting design, physical installation and commissioning of a basement fit-out of a prestigious Beauty Brand in Carnaby Street, in London’s Famous West End.
Successful delivery required that we meet the specifics of the brand, the design goals of the architect, and the reality of the physical space. Due to our experience with all elements of lighting design, we were able to suggest nudges and tweaks to the project that would allow for user-friendly lighting levels for a multitude of tasks, such as product reveal events with a party atmosphere, make-up tuition where total clarity of vision is key, and intelligent dimming solutions to create a subtle atmosphere for hosting after-hours social events.
One particular challenge was a lower-than-average ceiling height, and making the room feel larger than life.
